Scorpions Soccer Announces Tryouts for 2008-2009 Teams
For the 2008-2009 Soccer Year, Scorpions will be fielding teams for Girls U9-U19, and Boys U10-U12, U14, and U16. We are also holding open registration for our Junior Academy*.
Scorpions Soccer will also field a Girls U10 and Girls U11 team, and run a Junior Academy satellite open to boys and girls training and competing out of the Greater New Bedford/Dartmouth/Fall River region. Scorpions-South will be the name of this new venture, and information regarding tryouts is located beneath the Braintree-based tryouts.
Age Groups, Dates, Times, and Locations
All tryouts held at the Thayer Academy South Athletic Campus. Click here for Directions.
Tryouts begin promptly at 6 PM unless otherwise noted. Registration begins at 5:30 PM. Please arrive early!

U7 - U10 Boys and Girls - Registration for our Junior Academy is open. You can register onsite on June 10, or simply contact Staff Coach Brendon Boates (girls) or Staff Coach Don Whitaker (boys).
U9 and U10 Boys and Girls - Players on these teams will also register for the Junior Academy, but will have additional team training and league opportunities (teams will play in MAPLE). Tryouts are on June 10 and begin at 5 PM.
U11 and U12 Boys and Girls - June 10, 11, and 13
U14 and U16 Boys - June 18 and 19
U13 - U17 Girls - June 18 and 19

Scorpions-South
Players from the South Coast Region (Greater New Bedford, Dartmouth, Fall River, etc.) are invited to participate on our teams or Junior Academy program for 2008-2009!
