
PETER VERMES
TECHNICAL DIRECTOR
Peter grew up in New Jersey, attended Delran High School and Rutgers University where he earned All – American honors at both levels. From 1988 to 1998, he was recognized as a National Team Player and Team Captain. During this time he was also member of: The 1988 US Olympic Team (awarded “1988 US Olympic Player of the Year” and “1988 US Soccer Male Athlete of the Year”); The 1989 FUTSAL World Cup Team (winning the Bronze Medal); The 1990 US World Cup Team (Italy) and the 1991 CONCACAF Gold Cup (Gold Medal).
Upon completion of his college career, Peter began his professional career in the American Professional Soccer League (APSL) and then went on to play in Hungary, Holland and Spain. He returned to the United States to play Major League Soccer (MLS) for the NY/NJ MetroStars, Colorado Rapids and Kansas City Wizards. In 2000 the Kansas City Wizards won the MLS Cup and he was named “MLS Defender of the Year”. He retired from his professional career in 2003. In 2005 he was privileged to serve as an Assistant Coach for the U20 Men’s National Team which competed at the FIFA U20 Youth World Championships in Holland.
Currently, Peter is a member of the USSF Executive Committee, USSF Board of Directors, Chairman of the Athlete Council and a board member of the US Soccer Foundation. He holds a USSF “A” License and is the Executive/Technical Director of the Blue Valley Soccer Club.

JON PARRY
DIRECTOR OF JUNIORS
Jon Parry was a member of the 1996 United States Futsal Team that played in the World Championship in Spain and the 1998 team that played in the Brazilian Olympics. Jon played professional indoor soccer for eight years and scored over 400 goals in his professional career. He was an All-Star four times. In 1992-93 he led the Kansas City Attack to their first National Professional Soccer League (NPSL) championship.
Jon also played for five years in the Continental Indoor Soccer League (CISL) with the Sacramento Knights where he is the leading scorer in Knights franchise history with 127 goals and 84 assists. In college, Jon Parry was a three-time NAIA All-American at Rockhurst where he led the Hawks to three straight National Tournaments and two Final Four Appearances. He holds the Rockhurst College NAIA school record for goals in a career with 93.
Jon most recently was the Men's and Women's Head Soccer Coach at the University of Saint Mary in Leavenworth, Kansas from 1999-2004.

CHRIS DUKE
DIRECTOR OF SENIORS
Chris played professional soccer for nine years, all were indoor. He was a defender, starting with the Kansas City Comets (MISL) from 1989-92 and then the Kansas City Attack (NPSL) from 1992-94.
Chris finished his playing career with the Pittsburgh Stingers (CISL) from 1996-97. Duke played on the Region IV U-16 and U-23 Teams as a midfielder in 1988 and 1981, respectively. Collegiately, Chris played for the NCAA Division 1 powerhouse University of San Diego, where he earned First Team all American honors twice.
Duke's coaching experience compliments his professional career. He was a player/coach with the Kansas City Brass (USL-PDL). Chris has also been very active in coaching youth, to his credit, he has guided the Kansas Olympic Development U-14 Team, he founded and was Club Director for the KC Nomads.
