Thank you for your interest in sponsoring a team or teams this upcoming intramural soccer season. Our programs provide the children of our community with great opportunities to learn and play soccer, but they provide much more than that - such as opportunities to: make lifelong friendships and foster a sense of community; develop lifelong habits for good health in a way that's fun; gain exposure to a sport that has the potential for lifetime enjoyment; and learn responsibility, independence, self-discipline and leadership in a setting that focuses on effort and learning.
Increasingly, we have relied on outside funding to enable us to provide these opportunities. As a 501(c)(3) organization, we are properly positioned to use outside funds and your contributions are tax-deductible. By sponsoring an intramural team this upcoming season, you (or your employer) will be supporting the Haverford Soccer Club by helping us not only to keep costs down, but also to improve and expand our program offerings in response to participant demand. You (or your employer or someone you know) can sponsor a team this fall for just $250.
There are many benefits of sponsoring an intramural HSC team. The most obvious is the sense of satisfaction that comes from supporting a worthy cause. In addition, a team sponsorship also will increase visability of you or your company. A sponsorship includes the printing of your company's name or logo predominantly on the shirts of the team that you sponsor. it also includes free advertising on the HSC website, which receives approximately 73,000 "hits" each year from close to 3,000 HSC participants and visitors. You also will receive an attractive team plaque featuring a picture of the team that you are sponsoring and listing your name or your company's name as the team sponsor. Your company name/logo also will be included on any printed programs for special events associated with the upcoming soccer season, i.e. the awards banquet and opening night at the High School.
