Tips for AGCs Minimize
AGC Software Versions
Version 3.76 is the current version of the Demosphere AGC Client software that all coordinators should be using. This version of the software provides more advanced filtering and sorting features, and it has the ability to retain data column arrangements between sessions. There are now several reports available to use with the software so that the AGC Add-On Tool is no longer necessary for report generation

Removing Teams from Divisions
Most coordinators probably have more teams set up in their divisions than they really need. If you have finalized your team count and have leftover teams, do not delete these teams via Option 2 in the Team Management web page. Instead, you should go to Option 1 (Division Management) and click on your division name to display a list of teams assigned to your division. You can then click on the Remove link to take teams out of your division without actually deleting the teams. That makes the teams available to be added back in if you need to add a team, or they are at least available for use in subsequent seasons.

Adding Teams to Divisions
Before you add a brand new team to your list, check to see if that team might already exist and was just removed from your division list in a prior season. Use Option 1 in the Team Management web page to view a list of teams that are currently in your division. Then click on the Add Team to Division link to see a list of teams that are not currently assigned to any divisions. If you see the teams you need, check the box beside each team name you want and then click the Submit button at the bottom of the screen. If you don’t see a team you need in the list, use Option 2 in the Team Management web page to create that team and add it to your division.

Refreshing Team Information in the AGC Software
If you add or delete teams or change coach team assignments via the Team Management web page while you have the AGC software running, those team changes will not be downloaded to the AGC software when you click the Save Changes & Refresh button. The team information is only updated when you refresh data upon first starting up the AGC software, so you will have to close the AGC program and open it back up again to see any team information changes.

Assigning Teams to Coaches
When you assign a team to a coach, be sure to check the Assign box on the far right side of the screen so that the coach’s child will be automatically assigned to the team. If the coach is a non-parent coach there will be no box to check.
