SLSG Alum Steve Ralston

AC St. Louis announced the signing of St. Louis native and SLSG Alumni Steve Ralston as the club’s first official player. Ralston will also serve as an assistant coach for the team. Ralston, 35, is a 14-year veteran of Major League Soccer, and holds the record for most appearances by a professional player in the United States. For more - click here.

Ream Drafted #18 Overall in MLS SuperDraft

SLSG's Tim Ream, a Saint Louis University All-America defender (St. Dominic HS) was drafted by the New York Red Bulls in the MLS SuperDraft. He was the 18th player selected overall, and the second player taken in the second round. The 2009 Atlantic 10 Conference Defensive Player of the Year, Ream started all 22 games for the Billikens this season and contributed a career-high 17 points (6G, 5A) to rank second on the team. SLSG's Jordan Meier

Congratulations are in order for Jordan Meier from SLSG U15 Elite who has been selected to participate in the 2010 id2 National Training Camp in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., which will be held Feb. 26-March 1 at the Weston Soccer Complex.The id2 program is US Club Soccer's revolutionary approach to identifying the nation's best youth soccer players.

SLSG's Alyssa Mautz

SLSG's Alyssa Mautz (Texas AM) was called into the U.S. Under-23 Women’s National Team for its first training camp of 2010 from Jan. 13-20 at The Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif. Head coach Bill Irwin has called in 24 players to the camp, which will overlap four days on the front end with the U.S. U-18 WNT training camp and three days on the back end with the U.S. WNT training camp. SLSG Missouri Girls U18 Green

The SLSG U18 SLSG Missouri Girls Green took 2nd place in The Veteran Day tournament (Indiana).

SLSG Missouri Boys U11 Portugal

Congrats to Mark Ries' SLSG U11 Mo Boys Portugal won the Vetta Christmas tournament. The boys came out of pool play as the wild card team to win the tournament. In the finals we were behind 2-0 going into the last quarter and scored 4 goals to win.

SLSG Missouri Boys U12 Elite

The SLSG Missouri Boys U12 Elite team coached by Tommy Howe and Pete Collico played up and won the U13 SLYSA A Division this past fall. Congratulations on this tremendous accomplishment!
