The BVSC Future STARS program is a program for 1st and 2nd grade players who wish to develop and enhance their existing soccer skills by receiving instructional training from soccer professionals.  This program is an 8 month commitment: Aug-Oct/ Jan-Feb/ Mar-May (fall, winter, spring seasons)

 

PROGRAM OVERVIEW:

  • Players are placed on teams based on gender and ability
  • 10 to 12 players per team
  • Complimentary to the recreational program
  • One practice per week during the outdoor seasons (Aug-Oct and Mar-May) with a soccer professional
  • Game Format:  8 scheduled games with 6 games considered a complete season
  • One instructional session/game per week during the winter season (Jan-Feb) with a soccer professional
  • Sunday games so as not to interfere with recreational programming (no games Labor Day & most holidays)
  • Instructional sessions will be similar to the BVSC Academy
  • 4 vs. 4 format
  • Practices and games emphasizing the five critical components of soccer:  passing, receiving, dribbling, shooting, and juggling
  • Player movement may occur seasonally as players are evaluated throughout the year

 

U7 & U8 PLAYER'S OPTIONS:

  1. Playing Recreational AND Future STARS
  2. Playing only on the Future STARS
  3. Playing Recreational, on the Future STARS and participate in the Academy
  4. Playing on the Future STARS and participating in the Academy
