Loudoun Soccer U7 and U8 teams play on micro fields (30 x 40 yards), and instead of throw-ins, players do kick-ins. There is also no enforcement of the off-sides rule for U7/U8 games. Player substitutions may only be made at quarter breaks (no free substitution) unless there is an injury and a player has to come off. Coaches must remain on the sideline during games and are not allowed to be on the field to provide player guidance at all.

 

U7 Players will participate in two practices per week and one game on Saturdays. 

Games will be run in a 4 v 4 format on a single field.  U7 Players will end their season in the Loudoun Soccer Jamboree, a day full of soccer and other fun activities. All U7 players will receive an end of the season participation award.

 

U8 Players will play 4 v 4 with NO GOALIES. U8 Players will participate in two practices per week and one game on Saturdays.  Games will be run in a 4 v 4 format on a single field.   U8 players have the option of participating in an end of season U8 Festival.
