The SFL does game scheduling for U14, U16 and U19 age groups (boys and girls). Each age group is broken down by divisions to provide a more competitive environment. The U14 age group has two divisions that are determined by player age.

Division 2 teams in the U14 age group are comprised of players who are not older than 12-years-old (U13), and Division 1 teams are comprised of players who are not older than 13-years-old (U14).

At the U16 and U19 age groups, division groupings are based on team skill level, not age. U16/U19 teams may move up or down a division level in the spring depending upon how well they did in the fall season.
