Erik Stadler:
As the Cofounder and Managing Partner of Blue Sombrero, Erik’s primary responsibilities include service development, organizational/financial management and leading the Blue Sombrero customer support team. Prior to his role as Founder of Nacional Soccer Camps from which Blue Sombrero was born, he served as the Director of Operations for a multi-million dollar consumer sales organization handling all of their finance, operations, technology and strategic development. Erik’s professional background also includes technology and operational/finance experience for several technology start up companies.

Erik is a former professional and collegiate soccer player whose professional career includes time with teams from the U.S., Italy, Switzerland, Poland and Israel. Erik holds a B.A. from the Honors College of the College of Charleston.


Pete Santora:
As the Cofounder and Managing Partner of Blue Sombrero, Pete’s primary responsibilities include service development, marketing and management of the Blue Sombrero sales team. Prior to his role as Founder of Nacional Soccer Camps from which Blue Sombrero was born, Pete was a sales manager for a Fortune 100 hi-tech company where he was responsible for leading a team selling telecommunications infrastructure and hardware solutions. While earning company-wide recognition for his team’s performance, Pete was able to gain valuable experience in technology sales and marketing.

Pete is a former professional and collegiate soccer player. He was a two time NSCAA/Umbro First Team All-American at Furman University, where he was recently inducted into the Furman Athletics Hall of Fame. Pete holds a B.A. from Furman University.

Michael Luscher:
Michael joined Blue Sombrero full-time as a Managing Partner in the summer of 2006, having most recently served as a consultant for Australia’s National Basketball League, working with the league’s Commissioner on their media strategy. Michael’s background shows more than a decade of sports marketing experience working for Major League Baseball (1995 – 2002) and the National Football League (2002 – 2005) in a variety of capacities including media, sponsorship sales, licensing and public relations.

Michael earned a B.S. in Sport Management from Ithaca College. He is married with one daughter.
