FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Sept 12th, 2007

NEW HAMPSHIRE SOCCER ASSOCIATION AND BLUE SOMBRERO REACH FIVE YEAR AGREEMENT

Partnership set to include management system technology and exclusive marketing rights

ATLANTA, GA (September 12th, 2007) - New Hampshire Soccer Association (NHSA) announced the selection of Blue Sombrero as their exclusive technology provider and marketing agent through 2012.  New Hampshire's decision marks the third US Youth Soccer (USYS) State Association to select Blue Sombrero as their provider.  Blue Sombrero debuted its new State Soccer Association Service at the latest USYS convention in St. Louis, March 1-3, 2007.

Blue Sombrero will provide web-based functionality to help NHSA automate all of the state's administrative processes.  The partnership will now allow all players, teams and clubs to register with the State Association over the internet.  As part of the agreement, Blue Sombrero will also offer each member soccer club in the state of New Hampshire the chance to secure their own club-specific system for players and parents at a discounted price.

"We are extremely excited about the work we are doing with New Hampshire Soccer Association," offered Blue Sombrero Co-Founder and Managing Partner Pete Santora. "Every State needs to think like New Hampshire: growth.  How do we grow participation, how do we grow sponsors, how do we grow excitement.  I think it is easy to be overcome with the burden of working in a Non-Profit rather than the joy of working in your passion: soccer.”

In addition to online registration, Blue Sombrero will provide NHSA with functionality that will simplify a host of USYS State Association management needs such as scheduling, referee assignment, financial management tools, state-wide email communication and website.  Blue Sombrero will also serve as the exclusive marketing agent for NHSA, utilizing new technology to increase the value of all assets associated with youth soccer in the state of New Hampshire.

“Blue Sombrero’s user-friendly, club-focused technology was a big factor for New Hampshire in making this decision,” said New Hampshire Soccer Association President Bill Thornton.  “After looking at several providers we felt strongly that Blue Sombrero would provide the greatest value to our membership.  Their innovative approach to marketing and managing our assets will certainly help the sport of soccer grow in our state.”

Blue Sombrero is unique in that it is designed by soccer players and administrators to cater specifically to the individual Soccer Club and State Association.  Blue Sombrero's State Service allows for seamless system integration whether the club is using the Blue Sombrero Club Service or another industry provider.  "As former youth soccer players that grew within the USYS system, it was important to simplify this process for the club and the state in order to direct NHSA’s focus where it belongs - the continued growth of the game.  Creating a service that doesn’t talk and integrate with another service is bad for the game and just makes it more difficult for the State to manage.  We have to always be thinking growth," added Blue Sombrero Co-Founder and Managing Partner Erik Stadler.

New Hampshire's new State Service and website are expected to launch in time for their Spring, 2008 soccer season.  Youth soccer clubs throughout New Hampshire are in the process of enrolling for Blue Sombrero’s club service.

VERMONT SOCCER ASSOCIATION AND BLUE SOMBRERO
REACH FIVE YEAR AGREEMENT
Technology provider chosen as management and marketing partner for youth soccer in Vermont

ATLANTA, GA (July 19, 2007) - Vermont Soccer Association (VSA) today announced the selection of Blue Sombrero as their exclusive technology provider and marketing agent through 2012. Vermont's decision to use Blue Sombrero’s State Service marks the second US Youth Soccer (USYS) State Association to select the provider, whose product has been on the market for less than six months.

Blue Sombrero’s ability to secure two new partners since the recent launch of their service has been credited to the organization’s focus on youth soccer, cutting edge technology and familiarity with the needs of USYS State Associations. Vermont’s new web-based functionality will allow all players, teams and clubs to register with the State Association over the internet, and help VSA automate all of the state's administrative processes such as scheduling, financial management and email communication. As part of the agreement, Blue Sombrero will also offer each member soccer club in the state of Vermont the chance to secure their own club-specific system for players and parents.

“We have looked at a number of online registration and management systems over the past few years but none seemed to meet our specific needs,” offered VSA Executive Director Meg Munson. “Selecting Blue Sombrero was an easy decision for us because they were the first provider to have a system that showed a real understanding of how our business works.”

In addition to online registration and management, Blue Sombrero will also serve as the exclusive marketing agent for VSA, utilizing proprietary technology to generate new revenue for youth soccer in the state of Vermont. By aggregating VSA’s sponsorship, marketing and broadcast rights under one arm, Blue Sombrero will be able to maximize the value of the state’s assets.

“Everyone involved with youth soccer is aware of the void that big sponsors have created for many State Associations. While losing sponsors mean budget deficits, unfunded state tournaments and cutting events, it is critical to remember that sponsors want something for their money other than field banners. They want innovation, results, measurements and confidence that their money is going to good use. That is why this coalition of States, Leagues, Clubs and sponsors has been so successful,” said Blue Sombrero Co-Founder and Managing Partner Pete Santora.

Blue Sombrero's software was designed to meet the needs of both the State Association, as well as those of its member soccer clubs. If both State and Club participate, integration between the two systems is seamless. "Our core business for the past 5 years has been supporting youth soccer clubs in more than 30 states across the country,” added Blue Sombrero Co-Founder and Managing Partner Erik Stadler. “That has allowed us to really understand not only how clubs interact with their membership, but with their respective state associations as well.”

Vermont's new State Service and website are expected to launch in time for their Spring, 2008 soccer season. Youth soccer clubs throughout the state are in the process of enrolling for Blue Sombrero's Club Service.

MAY 9TH IS SOCCER ADMINISTRATOR’S DAY
One year anniversary of The Administrator is the inaugural holiday to appreciate soccer staff members

ATLANTA, GA (May 9, 2007) - Blue Sombrero has dubbed May 9, 2007 as the inaugural Soccer Administrator’s Day. The holiday is intended to serve as an annual reminder for soccer organizations across America to recognize and appreciate the efforts of their staff members, many of whom are often volunteers.

May 9th was selected as Soccer Administrator’s Day as it is the one-year anniversary of the launch of The Administrator (www.bluesombrero.typepad.com), the primary source for news and information on the administration and management of soccer organizations. The Administrator is a weekly e-newsletter and Weblog circulated by Blue Sombrero and read by more than 20,000 soccer administrators across the country. It is the only communication of its kind, with articles and topics of interest catering specifically to the needs of youth soccer organizations.

“The staff members and volunteers who handle the administration of youth soccer are pillars for the growth of the sport in this country,” said Blue Sombrero Managing Partner, Michael Luscher. “We felt it was important to recognize those who spend all that time in the office, allowing more kids to spend time on the field.”

To commemorate the celebration of Soccer Administrator’s Day, Blue Sombrero is giving the first gift. Readers can log on to The Administrator and offer suggestions on what they would like to see in year two of the publication. The reader whose suggestion is selected and implemented will receive a gift card and authentic blue sombrero courtesy of The Administrator, as well as having their organization featured in the newsletter’s monthly Club Spotlight section.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE October 4, 2006

BLUE SOMBRERO, LLC RECEIVES SECOND ROUND OF FUNDING
Industry leading online registration software provider secures angel investment in excess of $1 million

ATLANTA, GA (October 4, 2006) - Blue Sombrero, LLC today announced that its second round of fundraising efforts are complete. A group of locally-based private investors have committed to the seven-figure investment, allowing Blue Sombrero to proceed as planned with a new product launch in the first quarter of 2007.

With revenue growth of over 500% during each of the past two years, Blue Sombrero has quickly become the leading provider of online registration and league management software for youth soccer clubs and multi-sport facilities across the U.S. Blue Sombrero’s user base includes more than 250,000 youth soccer players and parents who interact daily with the company’s websites as the hub of a nationwide soccer-based communication network. This second round of funding will allow Blue Sombrero to market this communication network more effectively to potential sponsors, further expand into non-soccer sports and launch an integrated software service targeted to state and national soccer bodies.

“The rapid growth we’ve experienced over the past two years convinced us that we needed this second round of financing to pursue our long term goals,” offered Blue Sombrero Co-Founder Peter Santora. “With this infusion of capital, we are now confident that Blue Sombrero can own not only the youth soccer market, but online registration for youth sport organizations nationwide.”

Blue Sombrero’s software was designed to alleviate the administrative burden borne by youth soccer organizations, most of which are staffed primarily by volunteers. “As former soccer players and administrators, we have really come to understand the needs of youth soccer associations, “says Blue Sombrero Co-Founder Erik Stadler. “No one in the market has designed user-friendly software specifically to meet those needs.”

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE September 22, 2006

BLUE SOMBRERO, LLC TO SPONSOR U.S. YOUTH SOCCER STATE ASSOCIATIONS
Industry leading online registration software provider to offer more than $4,000,000 in sponsorship value to State Soccer Associations across the U.S.

ATLANTA, GA (September 22, 2006) - Blue Sombrero, LLC today announced plans to offer upwards of $4,000,000 in aggregate sponsorship barter to each of the fifty-six USYSA State Soccer Associations.

Having spent the last four years providing online registration and league management solutions exclusively to youth soccer clubs and multi-sport facilities, Blue Sombrero has recently developed cutting-edge software designed specifically to meet the online registration and management needs of state youth soccer associations. “As products of the U.S. youth soccer development system and former soccer administrators, we have really come to understand the needs of youth soccer associations,” says Blue Sombrero Co-Founder Peter Santora. “We know that there is a need for cutting-edge software but as non-profit organizations, state soccer associations often can’t afford to meet that need – this is where we feel our sponsorship can help.”

Blue Sombrero’s sponsorship strategy is a first in the youth soccer industry – using innovative marketing partnerships to provide software at a subsidized cost. “We feel like youth soccer associations should dedicate their resources where they belong – to the growth of the game,” adds Blue Sombrero Co-Founder Erik Stadler.
