Loudoun Soccer Team Highlights

Fall '09

Congratulations to LOUD 93B Black . They took 2nd place in NCSL Division 6 with 21 points and a 7-2-0 record.
The boys won their final six games and the last five were shutout wins.  Team was ranked # 1 in defense for Division 6 for fewest goals allowed and most shutouts. They scored 23 goals. A very nice season for the boys!

LOUD 93B Black is coached by Dave Mattingly and Andrei Poleshchuk.



October 10/11, 2009

WAGS Tournament:

LOUD 97G Red won the WAGS U12 8v8 A Flight.The girls went 5-0 and outscored opponents 13-2.

 

Virginia Beach Columbus Day Tournament: 

LOUD 93B Black won the U16 boys championship (white division).The boys had three wins and a tie.

 

Battlefield Classic:

LOUD 95G White was the Champion of the Battlefield Classic White division with a record of

 3-0-1.The team did not allow a goal the entire tournament with the final game being a 0-0 tie.


September 5 & 6,2009

OBGC Capital Cup

LOUD 95G Red (U14G) finished Champions of the Elite Division.

LOUD 00G Black  (U9 G) – finished as Finalists in the White Division.

LOUD 97G Red won the U12 Elite Division. They outscored opponents 18-2.

  

August 29 & 30, 2009

Dulles National Soccer Tournament

LOUD 97G Black (U12G) finished as finalists of the Champion Division outscoring opponents 8 to 2, with a record of 3 wins and 1 loss.

LOUD 00G Black (U9 G) placed second in the Premier division.

May 24/26

LOUD 97G White won the U11 Girls Premier Bronze division of the Virginian Soccer Tournament. Team went undefeated outscoring opponents 21 to 3. LOUD 97G were finalists scoring 18 and allowing just 7 goals.

 

March 28/29

LOUD 93B Black won the U14/15 boys championship at the Fredericksburg Blue & Gray Classic Cup winning all three games and outscoring their opponents 15-0.

 

March 21/22

LOUD 97G Silver placed as finalists of the green division in the SASA St. Patrick’s Day Tournament.
LOUD 97G White team were the Champions of the U11 Classic Division at the PWSI Icebreaker Tournament outscoring their opponents 10 to 0 in 2 shortened games, before being rained out. 
 

March 14/15

LOUD 99G Black took first place in the Girls U9 Silver Division at the CMSSL March Mania Tournament, March 14-15, in Columbia, MD.  The girls won the championship by defeating St. Jane Pink Panthers 2-1 in a pk shootout.  LOUD 99G Black is coached by Claire Collins.  Jeff Wenzel is the assistant coach.
