 The Annual General Meeting (AGM) Minimize
The Annual meeting of the members of the Association is held during April of each year, for the purpose of electing Directors and for the transaction of such other business as me properly be brought before the meeting.

The Annual General meeting includes a report on the a report by the President and Treasurer financial status of the club, a presentation on the budget for the next fiscal year, a report from the Director of coaching and from the club's executive director.  Coaching assignments for the following year are also announced at this meeting.

AAYSA Annual General Meeting – Thursday, April 26, 2007

The AAYSA Annual General Meeting will take place on Thursday, April 26, 2007 at the St. Claire Episcopal Church. Voting for next years BOD will begin at 6:00pm, ending at 9:15pm. The AGM meeting will take place 8:15-10:30pm. During the meeting elections will be held to fill vacant spots on the Board of Directors. In addition to reviewing activities of the past year, providing the financial report and providing an update about the future plans of the club, a major agenda item will be the status of the fields, field budget and the capital campaign. AAYSA staff will present reports and we will present information about the new Web Registration system and the website. Please contact Eric Rudland (eric@aaysa.net) if you have questions.

Dear AAYSA Member,
 
Please plan on joining us on Thursday, April 21st, 2005 at 8:00 PM for the AAYSA Annual General Meeting.  It will be located at 2301 Packard, Ann Arbor, MI in the social hall of St Clare's Episcopal Church right next to the old AAYSA office.
 
At that time, AAYSA Board President Don Tilton will open this meeting.  The agenda is attached for your review and information.  Please note that only members of AAYSA may vote in the election of officers.  Parents of AAYSA players may vote on behalf of their child, but only once.  All registered team officials ( coaches, managers, assistant coaches ) may vote only once for themselves.  You must be in attendance to cast your vote.  Our Nominations Committee has put forth the following slate of candidates to fill the three open positions:  Mike Concannon for Vice-President, Deb Vandermade for Treasurer, and Roger Brooks for Member at Large.
 
We hope that you will join us for the meeting.  We are excited to share with you some great news concerning the future of our organization.

AAYSA ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING SET FOR APRIL 22ND!

The Annual General Meeting of Ann Arbor Youth Soccer Association will be held on Thursday, April 22nd, 2004 at 7:30 PM in the social hall adjacent to the AAYSA office at 2301 Packard, Ann Arbor, MI, 48104. During the meeting, we will be holding elections to four positions on the Board of Directors: President, Secretary, and two Members at Large positions.

Nominations are now closed for these four Board positions and the Nominations Committee would like to report that there is one candidate running for each position: Don Tilton for President, Lou DeLone for Secretary, Deb Vandermade for one Member at Large position, and Paul Waltner for the other Member at Large position.

Any member of AAYSA is able to vote once for each child in our program but may only vote once. If a family has two or more children that are members of AAYSA, then one parent may vote on behalf of one child and the other parent will need to vote on behalf of the other child for no more than two votes per family. No absentee or proxy votes are allowed but we will accept members' votes in person anytime on April 22nd between 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM at the AAYSA office. The Credentials Committee will then tabulate the vote and report the results during the meeting at 8:30 PM.

Every vote matters and we hope that you will be able to attend at least part of the Annual General Meeting and cast your vote. Please feel free to contact me anytime should you have any questions on the Annual General Meeting.

AAYSA ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING INFORMATION, Apeil 10, 2003

We will be holding our Annual General Meeting On Thursday, April 10th at 8:00 PM next door to the AAYSA office at 2301 Packard.  We encourage all AAYSA members to come and attend the proceedings.  We will be reviewing our Bylaws, holding elections for our three open positions on the Board of Directors, and reviewing the state of our club over our last fiscal year and for the upcoming season.

Three positions on our Board are open:

Vice-President
George DeGrood is stepping done after 4 years on our board ( thanks George! ).  We have one member who has notified us of his intent to run for this position, Peter Jebson.

Treasurer
Roger Brooks will be running again for this position.

Member at Large
Ellen Arruda will be running again for this position.

Please view the  bylaws to review the proposed changes that our Bylaws Committee is recommending be adopted at the AGM.

 Election Results, AGM 2006 Minimize
We are excited to share with you the results of the election for the AAYSA Board of Directors that was held as part of the Annual General Meeting on April 27th. Warren Bonam was elected as President, Sioban Harlow as Secretary, Tammie Tischler as Treasurer, Rick Jones as one Member at Large, and Grant Fitz as the other Member at Large. Each of them will take office on July 1st. These are exciting times at AAYSA with our new Arsenal coaching staff announced, the building of our new soccer fields and our relationship with Detroit Ignition. We look forward to the new Board's leadership as this organization continues to grow and provide the best soccer experience it can to all players!
