Recreational Fees: U5 to U6: $48 U7 & Above: $69
AGE REQUIREMENT:
Your child must be at least age 4 BEFORE August 1st of this year to be eligible to play in Fall 2008.
If you prefer that your child to play up one year - you will need to register them under the division available, indicate your desire to have them play up in the space below, then fill out and sign the ASA Play Up form, and turn it into the office within 1 week.
A Play Up form must be filled out every season.
PAYING BY CHECK?
The check must be received in the office no later than 1 week after you register.
If you fail to deliver the check within 1 week, your child's registration may be subject to cancellation.
PROOF OF AGE
All new players and any returning players that do not have a birth certificate on file must turn in a copy of their certified birth certificate.
SCHOOLS & SCHOOL DISTRICTS
ASA forms teams on the basis of Home Neighborhoods. Therefore, you need to select the public school that your child attends. IF your child attends a private school, proof of private school registration is required. Please select schools ONLY from the list provided.
UNIFORMS
All U5 to U10 players are provided a full uniform set (home and away jerseys, one set of shorts and a pair of socks) in the Fall of every year.
VOLUNTEERING
We ask that all parents agree to volunteer only two hours of their time during the 8 to 10 week season.
If you have absolutely no desire to volunteer your time to your family's socer organization, you may “buy out” of volunteering for $25 per child that you are registering.
Please note that if you say you will volunteer, you are expected to do so. BUT if ASA has 800 volunteers signed up to help, the chances are that your time spent volunteering will be significantly decreased.
ASA is a volunteer organization. We parents are all pressed for time every day. The more people that lend their valuable time, the less burden there is on everyone.
Without the support of parents, this organization does not exist. Thanks for your donating your valuable time!
UNIFORMS
All U5 to U10 players are provided a full uniform set (home and away jerseys, one set of shorts and a pair of socks) in the Fall of every year.
New players in the Spring will be provided new uniform kits.
TRAINING ACADEMIES
Soccer academies provide additional training opportunities on Monday nights for U8 to U10 players. Academies offer advanced training with coaches holding professional and advanced licenses in 8 sessions. Training academy registration is being offered online for players in those age groups. The ASA-sanctioned training academies are:
- Amarillo High Plains Drifters Soccer Academy: $60 per player, includes academy t-shirt
- Amarillo Lightning Soccer Academy: $60 per player, includes t-shirt.
