ASA-Sanctioned Training Academies

Pursuant to the Amarillo Soccer Association Rules and Regulations, Section 6.0, "Academies", and North Texas State Soccer Association Rules and Regulations Section 3.10.3, paragraph 1,

"Academies are to be governed by NTSSA Youth Associations, and NTSSA Youth Associations may host as many Soccer Academies as they deem desirable."

On 25 August 2009, the Amarillo Soccer Association approved the motion to consider plans for ASA-sanctioned academies, pursuant to Section 6.4 of the ASA Rules and Regulations.
Any soccer academy formed within the geographic boundaries of the Amarillo Soccer Association: 1) will be operated by ASA itself, or 2) may be operated by a NTSSA Registered Competitive Club that after obtaining permission from the Executive Board of the Amarillo Soccer Association before proceeding with any promotion of said academy, any academy training, play or registration of players within the geographic boundaries of the Amarillo Soccer Association.

ASA approved has approved the Academies for the following ASA Sanctioned Academies

1.  High Plains Drifters Soccer Academy (Fall 2009)


Any other Academies operated by NTSSA-registered Competitive Clubs are not sanctioned for operations  by the Amarillo Soccer Association and are not afforded the insurance protections or privileges of the North Texas State Soccer Association in league or tournament play.
