Scottsdale Soccer Club Puts Smiles on Faces of Children with Toys for Tots Donation

Scottsdale Soccer Toys For Tots Collection

Scottsdale Soccer Club Blackhawks trainer Adam Burke delivered a truck full of toys and a holiday message of giving to Scottsdale Fire Station #3 to support the U.S. Marines Toys for Tots Program and Paiute Neighborhood Center. Last year, the Paiute Toy Program served almost 200 families made up of approximately 400 children. Many of these children have family incomes under $15,000 and would not have received a gift for the holidays without support from the public.

The Scottsdale Soccer Club Board of Directors and trainers donated dozens of toys - including board games, tonka trucks and of course, a soccer goal. "The donation is consistent with the club's mission to support local youth in our community and the holidays are a time when our thoughts turn to helping those less fortunate," said Burke. We hope that our effort will result in just a few more kids who will wake up to something wonderful on Christmas morning."
