Winter Practices/Clinics
We'll have the month of December off, and winter clinic/practices will begin the first week of January and will run for 8 sessions.

• Mondays: 5-6:30 at Walter Johnson High School -- Now that our girls are getting a little older, we are fortunate enough to get a bit of outdoor training time on the turf!  (I will let you know whether we will hold practice on MLK Day and President's Day.)
• Wednesdays: split sessions from 5:30-6:30 and 6:30 and 7:30 at B'Nai Israel, 6301 Montrose Road, Rockville -- Session assignments will be by team (like our fall split practices), and I will send them as soon as I receive them from Tanya.

Footsal
Like it did last year, the Club will be organizing a winter footsal league.  Our age group will be sponsoring up to 3 footsal teams of 8 players each.  The cost per player will be approximately $80-$90.  (This fee is not included in players' annual fees, and participation in footsal is optional.)  Players will be accepted first come, first served, and girls without conflicts (e.g., classes or other weekend commitments) will get priority so that we can be sure to have enough girls at the games.    If you're interested, please send me an email marked "FOOTSAL" in the subject line.  We'll also need team liaisons for our footsal teams -- to keep track of schedules and notify the team families about where to go, what uniforms to wear.  In your email, please also let me know if you're willing to be a footsal team liaison.  More info about footsal is below.

Welcome to the Bethesda Soccer Club Winter Footsal League.  The Club’s Directors of Coaching have coordinated this league for the benefit of players in Bethesda Soccer Club’s Youth Development Program.  The league is set up to be a fun league and to help players develop their technical skills in a fun environment.  No walls will be used in the league.        

Age Groups:    Boys ages U8 – U12; Girls ages U8 – U12

Session : January 7th through early March 2012 -- games will be on Saturdays and Sundays.
