The primary purpose of BMYSO is to develop and promote a FUN and exciting soccer program within the towns of Blackstone and Millville. This will be accomplished through programs designed to educate players, parents and coaches about the sport of soccer and to further develop public awareness of the sport and what it offers to all kids. These programs will provide the opportunity for training and play for all interested parties and shall be designed to develop individual skills, fitness, teamwork, and fair play.

Registration includes: 12 hours of instruction by a very knowledgeable staff. Athletic trainer present at the fields throughout the week. Full training uniform and soccer ball. The academy will focus on all technical aspects of the game as well as tactical situations. The majority of the time players will work in very small groups, maximizing the contact with the ball and the improvement of their individual skills. The format of each training session is as follows: -FUN WARM-UP with the ball -COOPERATIVE WORK in the form of partner work -SNACK TIME!!! -COMPETITIVE WORK in the form of small sided games or station work -GAME PLAY in the form of a week-long World Cup competition for each age group Cost of registration is $90 through May and $100 after that
