The purpose of the Bristol Soccer Association recreational program:

  • To provide a recreational soccer league for school age children that emphasizes fun, sportsmanship, teamwork, and development of each player's soccer skills.
  • To promote the playing of soccer by Bristol area youth

Some important information about the recreational league:

  • Children are eligible to play in the recreational league starting at age 5.
  • We have two seasons which are fall and spring.  The fall season is played in September and October.  The games in the fall are played at White Top Creek Park, Bristol, Tennessee.  The spring season is played in April and May.  The games for spring season are Played at Sugar Hollow, Bristol, Virginia.
  • The teams are formed based on grade and school, if there are enough players from the same school.
  • The coaches are volunteers and are generally parents.
  • A coach will contact you in late August for the fall season and in March for the spring season.
  • Kindersoccer teams play six games.  All other grade levels will play an eight-game season.
  • Every child plays a minimum of half of each game.
  • Each player must have shin guards Tennis shoes or soccer shoes are acceptable; baseball or football shoes are not allowed.  Mouthpieces are optional.
  • It is encouraged that every player have their own ball for practices.
  • Players registered in the fall keep their uniform for use in the spring season.
  • The registration fee helps cover the expenses of the recreational program including referees, coaches training, field maintenance, mailings, participation gift, and team uniforms.

Registration Deadlines:

The registration deadline for fall season is August 15th of each year.  The deadline for spring season is February 28th.  Teams will be filled on a first come first serve basis.  We can not guarantee that players will be placed on a team after registration ends.

Fall & Spring $60.00 This option is available only during fall registration.

Fall season only $45.00

Spring season only $45.00

For your second or third child you may deduct $10.00 from the fee in all of the above categories

There will be a $15 late fee if not post marked by the registration deadline.  Late registrations will not be allowed to have sibiling discounts or scholarhips given
