The Blue Valley Soccer Academy is centered on the individual player. It is offered to players seeking supplemental training in addition to their recreational and premier team practices. This is presented in a fun atmosphere where kids are excited to play and are encouraged to try new techniques. 

 

Welcome to the BVSC Academy Registration Page

Spring or Fall Sessions Cost: $160.00 (includes required uniform kit - returning Academy players who already have a uniform will receive a uniform discount of $35)

These sessions will be held on the NEW TURF FIELDS AT THE OVERLAND PARK SOCCER COMPLEX.

You may pay by either check or credit card, but checks must be received within 10 working days of registration for your spot to be confirmed. Academy spots fill up quickly, so non-payment may result in your child’s registration being cancelled.

Please note: Registration for the Academy does NOT register you to play soccer in the BVSC Soccer League on a school team. The Academy is an independent skill development program only.

 The coaching method used at the Academy is progression based training. This will include the introduction and review of dribbling, controlling, shooting, passing and juggling. An emphasis on Foot-Ability will assist an improve players’ comfort level, balance, agility and creative confidence on the ball. For a player to receive maximum benefit from the Academy it is recommended that they participate either fall/spring or spring/fall.

This program will be held in the Spring 2010 from Arpil 2nd to May 21st on Friday evenings at the new Overland Park Soccer Complex (135th and Switzer). 

Two sessions will be held for the  Academy:

5:30-6:30pm for PreK, K and 1st grade players

6:40-7:40pm from 2nd through 6th grade players

 

This is NOT a soccer league or team program.  It is an individual skills Academy program.

 

If your child has never participated in the BVSC Academy he/she will receive a uniform kit which includes a jersey, short, sock, Academy ball and sack pack.  Returning participants who currently have an Academy uniform will not receive a uniform kit.
