REFEREE INFO PAGE

Planning and communication will be the key to another successful season.

The CCSA is very fortunate to have a good number of experienced and new referees for the upcoming season.  The CCSA requires that all referees complete a W-9 form that will assist the CCSA accountant in the completion of 1099 (s) for each referee at years end.  Please make sure that you have received and completed the form.  Upon completion of the form, it should then be turned over to the Recreation Referee Coordinator.  Referees will not be permitted to work with the CCSA without the completion of the above steps.

The Recreation Referee Coordinator will do his/her best to place everyone on a scheduling rotation basis.  Please remember that all referees must provide the Recreation Referee Coordinator with their day's and times of availability.

Referees with greater availability will be placed on schedules more often than others.  Referees that are punctual and reliable will be scheduled more often during the season.

At the end of the season, the Recreation Referee Coordinator will pass out ballots to the coaches and ask them to nominate the best overall male and female referee for end of season recognition.

Finally, the Recreation Referee Coordinator is employed full-time and has family responsibilities.  The Recreation Referee Coordinator will do his/her best to do all that is necessary (return phone calls, answer emails, prepare and post schedules, coordinate game day assignments, prepare cash envelopes) in a timely and efficient manner.

The Recreation Referee Coordinator appreciate's all of our referee's efforts and is looking forward to another outstanding soccer season.

Sincerely

Oui Hunter
