FCCA Goalkeeping Technical Director Brian Flebbe announces goalkeeping training dates for Fall season.
FC Carolina Alliance goalkeeping Technical Director Brian Flebbe has announced Wednesday, August 26th, 2009 as the beginning of FCCA specialized goalkeeping training for the Fall season.
Specializing goalkeeping training is open to all goalkeepers in FCCAA and are covered as part of your club fee’s. Training will take place every Wednesday evening at Frank Liske park on field #10 from 8-26-09 to 10-28-09. Training for the month of November will take place at the FCCA Hayes Soccer Complex with the same times.
One of the top goalkeepers in NCAA history, Flebbe was an NCAA Division II All-American, his senior year at Queens University of Charlotte. A two time All-Southeast Region selection and four-time All-Carolinas Virginia Athletic Conference performer, Flebbe holds the Queens School record for career shutouts (34), season shutouts (12) and career goals against average (0.90). During his scholastic career at Vineland (N.J.) High School, Flebbe notched the national record for consecutive shutouts with 16.
As a member of the Cherry Hill Soccer Club, Flebbe played for four New Jersey state champions and one regional champion. He was inducted into the South Jersey Soccer Hall of Fame in 2006.
Flebbe has vast coaching experience having worked in the club and collegiate game over the last seven years in the Charlotte area.
