Referee duties within GPSA are divided into two primary functions. Peter Mogk is GPSA’s Director of Referees with responsibilities for referee oversight, rules compliance, referee evaluations and continued education. Cynthia Sohn is GPSA’s Referee Assignor with responsibilities for game assignments, scheduling and referee certification. The goal of GPSA’s referee supervisors is to provide high quality and decisive officiating to GPSA’s Travel, Metro and House League programs. It is very important that all referees continue to keep your referee certification updated annually in order to be eligible to continue officiating within GPSA. Most certification / re-certification classes occur in the December – February time frame.
For New Referees:
Individuals interested in becoming referees within GPSA need to complete one of the Entry Level Certification classes listed in the link below.

For Grade 9 Referees:
Grade 9 referees have the option of either re-certifying or bridging to the Grade 8 Level. You can Bridge if you meet the criteria (age, ref tenure, etc). If you choose to re-certify, please click on the links below for information on upcoming classes and guidelines.
