Field Permit Rules/Guidelines

This page is for reference only!  Use this page to find open time slots for your team's practice session then send a letter to scheduling@haverfordsoccer.org.  When the slot is granted to your team, it will show up on this calendar.
Coaches, Carry a copy of the permit for your field AT ALL TIMES
To view or Print the Actual Permit click on the appropriate field permit link in the window to the right.  Next, click file, print to print the permit or press ctrl-p.
Let's keep the fields in good condition by:
  1. Reserving practice time
  2. DO NOT PRACTICE IN THE GOAL MOUTHS.  Please move the goals for goalie training and finishing.
  3. Please refrain from using fields without permission.
  4. All goals must have sand bags on them at all times. If a Sandbag is not on the goal, and there are none nearby, please ask a parent to go down the road to dmi hardware and grab a bag of sand and the club will reimburse them.  (Sandbags should be put on the FRAME of the goal not directly on the netting but between the netting and the metal goal frame). If the condition of the sand bags is poor,  or there are none around, contact Marc Gold at fields@haverfordsoccer.org
  5. Absolutely NO DOGS are allowed on any of the fields.

Directions to Haverford Reserve
For GPS purposes, the MapQuest field address is: [237-399] Marple Rd Haverford, PA 19041

From exit 9 of I-476 (aka the Blue Route), take Route 3 (West Chester Pike) East towards Havertown/Upper Darby.  Turn left onto Lawrence Road -- stay in the leftmost turn lane.  Take the first left off of Lawrence Rd onto Darby Creek Rd.  Go about 1 mile, and look for the entrance to the Haverford Reserve development on your left just before you come to Marple Rd.  Follow the development spine road until you see the Haverford Reserve Synthetic Turf field on your right.  The parking lot is just beyond the field, and the Haverford Reserve Sod Field is on the other side of the parking lot.

If your GPS sends you to Darby Rd and Parkview Drive, turn onto Parkview Dr (it's the spine road of a housing development).  Continue for 0.7 miles.  You'll pass a traffic circle (aka a clump of three or four trees placed in the middle of the roadway, presumably for traffic calming purposes).  The Haverford Reserve Sod Field is on your left shortly after the circle, behind a fenced-in field that is not  open yet.  The Haverford Reserve Synthetic Turf field is on the other side of the parking lot.
