The Loudoun Soccer Travel program provides the opportunity for boys and girls to participate in a competitive youth soccer environment that promotes excellence and sportsmanship. Loudoun Soccer currently fields 54 travel teams in the U9 through U19 age groups. Travel teams train a minimum of twice per week and play games primarily on Sundays, with some Saturday games throughout each season. Loudoun Soccer travel teams compete in one of three leagues: Washington Area Girls Soccer League (WAGS), National Capital Area Soccer League (NCSL) or Old Dominion Soccer League (ODSL).
Loudoun Soccer offers a number of academy training programs for its travel players that focus on a variety of technical, tactical and physical areas, specific to positions or requirements of the game. Footskills I Academy is available to the U9 through U12 travel players and covers a wide variety of skills including first touch, individual footskills, and 1v1. Footskills II (FS2) is an advanced footskills program available to the club’s U13 through U19 travel players. FS2 focuses on plyometric and speed and quickness (SAQ) training with the ball. Loudoun also offer two position specific academy programs - Goalkeeping Academy and Striker Academy.
