Tryouts will be held from Tuesday, June 5th through Sunday, June 17th.

Dwyane Demmin 3v3 Soccer Challenge 

Mark your calendar for June 2^nd and 3^rd, 2012 for the 3rd Annual Dwyane Demmin 3v3 Soccer Challenge.  Last year’s 3v3 tournament was a hit, with over 50 competitive teams entered from all age groups from as far away as Atlanta and Arkansas. This year will only be bigger and better, with a great atmosphere, competitive soccer and juggling/skills competition. 

All registered participants will receive a Dwyane Demmin 3v3 Soccer Challenge tee shirt and medals will be awarded to all finalists and semi-finalists.  If your players are looking for a soccer tune-up before tryouts or you just want to have a blast with other soccer players, this will be the place to be.  In addition to having a great time, all money raised in this event will be donated to the Blair E. Batson Children’s Hospital.

Blair E. Batson is teaching and research hospital and relies on donations and support from others to carry on its mission.  All children are treated regardless of the ability to pay.  Wouldn't it be wonderful if the soccer community could come together for two days, one event, to help save the lives of those kids that are suffering?  This is Coach Demmin's vision and theme, "Kids Helping Kids."

In an effort to memorialize three young men who had a significant impact on youth athletics and left positive impressions on all who crossed their paths within sports, South Madison County Soccer Organization and the Chicago Fire Juniors of Mississippi have announced three new scholarships for 2012.
