2012 NHSA  PRESIDENTS CUP 

New Hampshire will be offering the Presidents Cup tournament for the teams that do not enter the state cup.  This tournament is a good way to kick off the spring season within the state.  This tournament is a round robin format, with full length games, slated to take place on the following week ends: March 10/11; 17/18; 24; 31; April 7; 14/15.  Finals slated to held April 15 or 21, leading up to the leagues spring season kick off. Age grouping will be U12 (SS) thru U17.   Sites for the game will be TBD as we are looking again to hold them on turf fields outdoor. 

The Presidents Cup is a National Championships Series Tournament.  The Region I (Regionals) round robin games will be held over the Memorial Day week end. 2012 THE REGION I TOURNAMENT WILL BE HOSTED BY THE NEW HAMPSHIRE SOCCER ASSOCIATION. This tournament could be used as a Memorial Day tournament should you win, for the one fee of entering the state Presidents Cup tournament. We are holding this tournament earlier in the spring so as to have the games done in time to qualify before the May 1 deadline and to give teams time to enter a Memorial Day tournament should they not qualify to move on to the Region I Memorial Day tournament.  This also gives teams the benefit to get on the pitch prior to the spring season and play full length games.

Registration will be done thru the Got Soccer link under the NHSA competitive tournaments.  The registration fee will be $450.00 for U12ss and $650.00 for U13 thru U17.  Winners in the U13 thru U17 will go on to the Presidents Cup at the Region I level. The 2012 Region I Championships will be held in New Hampshire.  The U14 thru U17 go on to the National level should they win the Region I.   2012 National Championships will be held in Sacramento, California, Cherry Island Soccer Complex: July 11-15, 2012

This will be a good tournament for those teams who seek a more competitive level of play, that do no compete in the State Cup or the second tier teams who do not go on, to compete in. You may add players to the roster (should players drop, injury, etc.) up to 72 hrs.,  prior to the National Tournament in July as long as you maintain 50℅ +1 of your original state roster. There are no club players or guest players allowed in the state, regional or national tournaments. The rules for the Presidents Cup can be found on the Region I website and will download to the state website. We will update the state rules to address this as a combined tournament and to reflect the regional and national rules.  Registration cut offs is January 15, 2012.
