Tryout Procedure
Players who are selected to be offered a position with the PASA Select Boys & Girls program will be notified after 2:00pm on the Sunday after tryouts. The Club procedure for those who are called are as follows.
1. Players will be offered a position in the order of evaluation based on the tryout ranking given by the tryout evaluators.
2. Players shall be contacted by email and telephone starting at 2:00 pm using the information provided online and on the tryout form completed on their first attendance date.
3. When the player is contacted and offered the position the player shall accept or decline the offer.
4. If the offer is declined the next player in the tryout ranking will be contacted.
5. If the player neither accepts or declines an offer, i.e. asks for time to think it over, the Club will continue to call players using the ranking lists. As the calling/offer process will continue, a team spot cannot be guaranteed after the initial offer.
6. When the position is offered and accepted then a parent or guardian must attend the initial team administrative meeting that same day, Sunday after 2:00pm at the Violet Township Officer, 12970 Rustic Dr., Pickerington.
In the event that this meeting cannot be attended individual arrangements must be made to complete the administrative requirements.
If a player is not offered a position within the Club and would like a more detailed reason, a written request can be sent via e-mail to Mike Simmons, VP of Operations, mike@cfasoccer.org.
All players from the surrounding communities & soccer organizations are welcome!!
