Brief Description

In-House Developmental and Recreational Soccer is primarily meant to be a fun recreational experience for players ages 5-8. Play consists of one practice night  per week run by DOC of In-House Programs and performed by multiple trainers through fun and sport specific activities. Volunteer parent coaches manage game days. Scores and standings are not recorded. All players generally play at least 50% of each game. Each season usually concludes with an awards ceremony.

Academy Soccer focuses primarily on skill development for players ages 8-10. Play consists of two practice nights per week with DOC, and experienced coaches along with senior players to mentor youth. Training includes age group focus & variable team lineups based on opposing competition. Scores are not recorded; standings are not maintained. The season begins & concludes with a Regional Academy Festival. Round-Robin and/or scrimmage competition both within and outside RSL is optional.  Teams also may participate in optional pre-season & post-season tournaments*.

RSL Competitive Soccer is the most competitive format available for young soccer players.  The primary objective is to develop players and teams as well as to win games.  Play consists of a minimum of two practice nights with DOC and paid / licensed / experienced coaches and trainers. Individual playing time varies from team to team but players do not usually get equal playing time.  Scores and team standings are maintained throughout the season.  The Competitive Soccer season usually concludes with a regional, state or national tournament.  Teams also participate in competitive pre-season & post-season tournaments.
