CONSTITUTION OF THE SAN JUAN SOCCER CLUB A CALIFORNIA PUBLIC BENEFIT CORPORATION
I
NAME
1.1	The name of the organization shall be the San Juan Soccer Club.
II
PURPOSE AND GOALS
2.1	The purpose of the San Juan Soccer Club (SJSC) is to further the education of youth soccer players in the United States Soccer Federations and its affiliated organizations, and to develop, promote and administer the game of soccer at the competitive level among the youth within its territory.
2.2	The goal of the San Juan Soccer Club is to provide the opportunity for players with advanced soccer skill and desire to play with others with similar skills and desires. Also, the goal of the San Juan Soccer Club is to provide an environment that will improve player skills, to emphasize teamwork and sportsmanship, and to have fun playing soccer.

TERRITORY
3.1	The territory of the San Juan Soccer Club shall be within the boundary of the United States Soccer Federations and its affiliated organizations.
IV
AFFILIATIONS AND COMPLIANCE
4.1	The San Juan Soccer Club is affiliated with the United States Soccer Federations and its affiliated organizations.
V
COLORS
5.1	The representative colors of the San Juan Soccer Club, in order of priority, shall be Blue, White and Red.
VI
PLAYER ELIGIBILITY
6.1	Players residing within the territory of the United States Soccer Federations and its affiliated organizations are eligible to play for the San Juan Soccer Club.

MEMBERSHIP AND VOTING RIGHTS
7.1	Membership of the San Juan Soccer Club consists of registered players and their parents, the Board of Directors (BOD or Board), coaches, former players and their parents.
7.2	Only parents of registered players and non-parent members of the Board of Directors are eligible to vote at general meetings of SJSC. Parents, whether one or both are present, are entitled to a singular vote per registered player, and not one vote for each parent per registered player. Non-parent members of the BOD are entitled to one vote each.
7.3	All members shall abide by the Constitution, Bylaws, and Articles of Incorporation, Policies and Guidelines of the San Juan Soccer Club and its affiliated organizations. Members not complying with this governance, or found to be acting in a manner, which is not in the best interest of SJSC, are subject to removal as defined in the Bylaws of the San Juan Soccer Club.
VIII
GOVERNMENT
8.1	The San Juan Soccer Club shall be governed by its Constitution, Bylaws, and Articles of Incorporation, Policies and Guidelines.
8.2	The governing authority shall be vested in the Board of Directors. The membership, powers and election of the BOD are defined in the Bylaws of SJSC.
