Application Process
The California Cup™ on line application is the only means for applying to California Cup™ and can be found on this website.

2009 Dates & Deadlines

Late Applications
Teams applying after May 24th, 2009 [Boys] or May 30th 2009 [Girls] will be assessed a $50.00 late fee and be placed on a waiting list. Credit cards will be the only accepted form of payment for late registration. It is at the sole discretion of the tournament committee to offer placement into the tournament. If acceptance does not occur, the late fee will not be refunded.

Check-In Information
There will be a mandatory check-in (for ages U12 to U19) at the Doubletree Sacramento between 6:30pm & 9:30 PM.

Refunds
Full refunds will be made to teams not accepted. Refunds will be provided to teams that withdraw from the tournament, minus a $100 administrative fee. Teams must drop via an email to the Tournament Director 1 week prior to the application deadline. Accepted teams requesting to withdraw must do so by contacting the tournament at CalCup@sanjuansoccer.org, however, they shall forfeit their entire application fee.

U 9 born on or after: 8/1/2000
U10 born on or after: 8/1/99
U11 born on or after: 8/1/98
U12 born on or after: 8/1/97
U13 born on or after: 8/1/96
U14 born on or after: 8/1/95
U15 born on or after: 8/1/94
U16 born on or after: 8/1/93
U17 born on or after: 8/1/92
U18 born on or after: 8/1/91

Games
Brackets shall be in flights of 8, 12 or 16 teams.   Barring a team forfeiting or dropping from the tournament, each team shall play a minimum of 3 games.   Pool play will determine quarterfinalists. Tournament Director reserves the right to amend brackets and games to accommodate unexpected changes, i.e. team no-show.

Other Information
Cherry Island Soccer Complex typically charges $5.00 a day for parking. This is a soccer complex charge and is not controlled by California Cup. There are no dogs allowed on the Cherry Island Soccer Complex.
