New Players:

-Go To “My Account“ on the left hand side to create an account with Blue Sombrero.  Please make sure you enter all the information correctly!  You only need one account per family.  The account should be created under the parent's name.

-Proceed to “Add a Participant“ to add your players

-Follow all steps to complete creating an account.

-After your account is created, go to the “Register Now“ link on the left hand side. Proceed through all steps to register your player(s).  You must process out your shopping cart in order for the transaction to be processed.

You will receive one email confirming your account and another email after you complete the player registration.

Returning Players:

-Login to your Blue Sombrero account.  If you have forgotten your log in information, go to “Forgot your username or password?” at the login screen. **Do not create a new account!**

-Verify your account information is correct- address, email address, phone number, etc

-Go to “Add new participant” if you have a new player joining the Club

-Go to the “Register Now” link on the left hand side to complete player registration.  Proceed through all steps to complete your transaction.  You must process out your shopping cart.

You will receive email confirmation of your transaction.

This upcoming season, Scorpions Soccer will be accepting major credit cards (Visa, MC and Amex) for player fees through our online registration system. You can access this system through our website, www.scorpionssoccerclub.com. When you register your child online for the new season* you may elect to charge the full annual fee when you register (preferred) or you may elect to charge a 50% deposit at registration (less preferred). The remaining balance will be due before October 10th, 2 008. Since we are not able to store credit card numbers, if you elect the second option, you will be required to go back into your account to charge your remaining balance yourself before October 10th, 2008. Players with balances still remaining on that date will be considered to be in default.

We will still accept payments by check this season (least preferred) however we will require that you send either one check for the full amount when you register (see pay by check information below) or two half-fee checks, the second one post-dated to October 10th, 2008. I will hold all post-dated checks until this date and will give you plenty of notice prior to depositing them. If at that time you decide you'd rather charge your balance to your credit card, you can let me know then and I'll destroy your check.

In the pas t I've tried to accommodate people by allowing flexible payment options. I can no longer do this. With almost 500 families in the club, it is becoming too costly to continue, both due to the time it takes to monitor and collect and also the expense of late and non-payments. By using a credit card you will still have your flexibility and I will still have my sanity.

Scorpions Soccer will still consider applications for financial relief by sending a note to the executive board with the request. The request should provide some background information for the board to take under consideration. Requests can be emailed to scorpionssoccer@aol.com.

Please note that we will not be accepting credit cards for uniform payments at this time. We may b e able to do this at some point but we're not quite there yet. Payment for uniforms should be made in person at tryouts by check. Your check will be held until your son or daughter accepts her position on a team. If he/she declines, your check will be destroyed or returned (by request only).

*VERY IMPORTANT returning families should not create a new account, rather you will just select a new program to register for with your existing account, please refer to the registration instructions available on our website. We are charged for every account you create, so if you create a duplicate, we get charged twice . Families with more than one player should just add another participant to their account.

Please include a copy of your registration confirmation sheet with your check AND indicate the exact team your child will be playing on, for example, U1l premier , U10 black or U12 club.  If you misplace the confirmation, and you send in your check without one, please make sure to indicate the child's full name AND name you registered under if they differ. Please do not staple anything to the check.

Uniform Ordering Process
2008/09

There will be a new process this 2008/09 season for ordering uniforms and training gear.

Training gear, consisting of tee shirt, shorts and socks are included in your player fee, there is no charge to order this, we just need to get the sizes. Game uniforms are priced at our cost; the price list is at the bottom of this message.

This season we will be handling all uniform and training gear orders at tryouts. This way we can avoid asking you to attend a separate registration night two weeks later to try on and order what you need. (Registrations will be done online, player passcard photos and any additional paperwork will be collected by your team manager).  Please bring a check with you to tryouts. We will not be accepting credit cards for uniforms. Checks will be held until all team acceptances are confirmed. If your son or daughter declines a spot or does not make a team, we will destroy your check.

Please read and follow these steps in order to ensure we keep things moving along!

1.     Have the player try on both training and game jerseys and shorts at the uniform sample table (unless you are absolutely sure about the sizes already)
2.     Make note of the sizes on paper if necessary so you remember them.
3.     Write out a check to Scorpions Soccer leaving the amount blank for the time-being. include the player's 2008/09 age group on the check... U10, U11, U12.... if you're not sure write down their date of birth.
3.     Proceed to the uniform order entry table to place your order (if you are ordering training gear only you can avoid waiting and just complete and hand in the paper order form available at the table) 
4.  The order taker will input your order into our system, give you your total so you can fill it in on your check, print a copy of the order for you, and accept your check.    

The master order will be placed as soon as all individual orders are in and your items will be distributed to you through your team manager sometime in mid to late August.

Basic kit price          $95
Basic kit plus warmup suit and backpack = $210

All players will need the basic kit which consists of two jerseys (black and white), two pair of socks (black and white) and one pair of shorts. You may order additional pieces as desired. Training gear shorts and socks are the same as game pieces so you will still have an extra of each if you order a basic kit. Our supplier also carries some ad ditional items which will be available after the intital orders are completed and distributed. These include sweatpants, sweatshirts, wind jackets, hats etc... .
