Mewis sisters named to U17 WNT - Tuesday, October 14, 2008
Kristie and Sam Mewis have been officially named to the U17 Womens National team and will be representing the USA in the U17 Womens World Cup in New Zealand next month.  Congratulations and best wished to both Kristie and Sam!!! Enjoy!!

GU14 Premier:  Champions at Hempfield Fall Classic

 

The Scorpions Girls U14 Premier team traveled to Lancaster, PA on the weekend of November 22-23 to participate in the 23rd Annual Hempfield Fall Classic hosted by Penn Legacy.  Braving below freezing temperatures and snow on the pitch, the team returned home victorious as Champions of Hempfield’s F14 Premier 2 Division.

Mewis Sisters Shine for U17 National Team - Friday, August 01, 2008

Kristie Mewis (U18 Girls) and Samantha Mewis (U16 Elite Girls) have been impressing Scorpions coaches and families since they began in our Junior Academy as 7 and 8 year olds.  Now they're growing up at the National Team level, playing for the U17s as they prepare for the first ever Women's U17 World Cup. 

Both sisters figured prominently in the team during World Cup qualifying, and they even combined for the first ever goal in U17 World Cup qualifying history during an undefeated run for the team through the CONCACAF Championships this summer.  The World Cup will take place beginning at the end of October and the beginning of November.  You can follow the action at:
