Elite Soccer Academy is proud to announce that it will be joining forces with Scorpions Soccer Club and will become ‘Scorpions West’ at the beginning of June, just prior to tryouts for the 2010-11 season.

Scorpions West teams will continue to operate out of the Millis region and will continue to be overseen by SCORPION West Director Of Coaching

Derek Perras. “In terms of player development, Scorpions SC has very similar beliefs to us and we think this partnership will benefit us and our players and teams greatly,” said Perras.

He went on to add, “with their administrative support, their reputation as being one of the best girls clubs in the United States, and their recent acceptance into the Elite Clubs National League (ECNL), partnering with Scorpions will help us continue to grow and will give our players and teams greater opportunities moving forward.”

SCORPIONS WEST - UNDER 10 GIRLS
Played up an age group in the Under 11 Open division at the Needham Memorial Day Tournament. The girls did well going undefeated in the first three games making it to the Semi finals. In the Semi Finals the girls played hard and fought for every inch of the field eventually losing to a Division 1 A Team from Wellesley

SCORPIONS WEST - UNDER 11 GIRLS
Beat Western United in Semi Finals, played NEFC - Mazar team in the finals, played to a 2-2 tie at end of regulation, and after two overtime periods score remained tied. Game was to be determined by Penalty Kicks, PK results in a 3-2 NEFC win at Needham Memorial Day Tournament

SCORPIONS WEST - UNDER 14 GIRLS
Played extremely well during the Memorial Day tournament, eventually losing to Maine State Champions in the Semi Finals.
