Club Scorekeeping Information
This page provides information for U-9 and above coaches on procedures with the scorecards.
Scorecards are the official record of the game and must be turned by both home and visiting coaches.
Policy:
Individual teams will be held financially responsible for any fees incurred by the team. Most fees are associated with late or missing game cards. Game card fines will be imposed as follows:
-
If the game card is late there will be a $10 fine.
-
If the game card is never received or it is received more than 30 days after the game date, there will be a $25 fine.
-
Game cards are linked to referee pay. Therefore, if a club cancels games, game cards will still need to be submitted even if games are not played that weekend.
-
If BAYSA cancels all games within BAYSA for the entire weekend, no cards are required.
Other leagues we play in EDDOA and EDS2 all have seperate fee schedules. If the team incurs fines, the team will need to pay those fees.
If the game card is not turned in on time, the scorekeepers do not pick up until the following Sunday and it will be an automatic 3-0 forfeit. They will not chase the cards down. They will collect and enter and send those received to BAYSA. Do not forget to turn in the game card before 8:00PM Sunday the same weekend the game was played.
