West Ham USA Girls Academy

Girls and women's soccer in the USA has one of the most advanced infrastructures in world football. 52% of all registered soccer players in the USA are female.

The partnership between West Ham United and the United Soccer Leagues provides a unique opportunity for female players to play soccer in the USA. The USL W League is one of the leading women's soccer leagues in the world with 34 clubs playing across the USA.

The West Ham USA Academy will look to establish partnerships and links between US clubs and West Ham Ladies FC. This could include;

	Tour matches in London and the USA
	Player exchanges
	Coach education exchanges

Over the next few years, the West Ham USA Academy will be establishing links between West Ham Ladies, US youth soccer clubs and the USL W League to develop the foundations for a West Ham United women's academy in the USA. Plans will include a residential training academy for girls and a West Ham United W League team.

By sharing some of the player development methodology from the famed West Ham United Academy, with the potential for girls and women's soccer in the USA, the West Ham USA Academy for girls will provide one of the finest girls' soccer development academies in world football.
