The majority of the Strikers played for Beachside Soccer Club in '07-08 and '08-09 seasons. In the Spring of 2008, they reached the finals of the Baltimore March Madness Tournament, losing in PKs to the Severna Park Kickers (MD). The team also was a finalist at the PDA Spring Kickoff Tournament, losing to Nirvana Nirvana (E-NY) in the championship game 2-1.  In the Fall of 2008, the team won the HBC Peter Renzulli Memorial Tournament in Huntington, NY by defeating all four teams in the Premier bracket. They completed the Fall 2008 premier season with a record of 8-2, qualifying them for Division 1 play in the Spring of 2009. In the Winter of 2009, the team won the Teaneck Winter Showcase Tournament and in the Spring they reached the finals of the Adidas Memorial Day Tournament, losing 1-0 to SOCA of Virginia in the championship game. After a difficult 0-2 start to the Spring 2009 season, the team finished with a Division 1 record of 1-3-3, including a hard fought 1-1 tie against the 2009 U-13 State Champion CFC Rocky Hill Wolves.  As the latest addition to the Yankee Premier Soccer Program, the Strikers look forward to contributing to the club's tradition of success and achievement.
